Limerick Brakes 3 v Merchants 1

Limerick Brakes were rampant early in the first half and threatened to really open up on Merchants, but all credit to Merchants who fought on, got a goal back and kept Brakes scoreless in the second half.

Brakes Baz Hourigan got two goals and Rob Kolasnki added another with a well taken shot. Barry Ryan got the goal for Merchants and overall Steve Gleeson will be happy with his sides second half perfroamance.

Brakes lack of concentration will be a concern for Derek Casey as we come down to the business part of the season, when they will need to be sharper and press home the advantage.
